Chengdu Huarong Chemical Company Limited (CHCCL) is a large and modern chemical enterprise with the registered capital of $12.8 million USD. It was jointly found by Sichuan New Hope Group and International Finance Corporation (IFC-a member of the World Bank) in the year 2000. CHCCL’s major products are high-purity potassium hydroxide flakes (KOH) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin.

　 Through innovation and hard-working over the last few years, CHCCL has grown manifold and become a world-class supplier of high-purity potassium hydroxide flakes. The quality of its products has reached the highest international standard and enjoyed the good reputation among customers. KOH product has so far been exported to more than fifty countries and regions in the world, e.g. the United States, European Union, Japan, Brazil, South Korea, South-East Asia and so on. The amount of KOH sold to overseas markets is about 50% of China’s total annual export. The other product (PVC) with high quality has also achieved great success in gaining its market shares both domestically and internationally.

The company was certified to ISO 9001 in 2003, and has so far gained reputable positions in several sectors, such as a key Sino-foreign joint venture in Sichuan province, Chengdu Hi-tech company, one of 200 the largest enterprises in terms of production scale in Sichuan province and 50 the strongest manufacturers in Chengdu city, a model of tax payer in the city, etc. As well, the high-purity potassium hydroxide has won the national prize of innovative product and a provincial famous brand.
